Download Yamaha's handy NP Controller app and use it to browse through music sources on your smart device's display, and even view song information and album art. Compatibility with FLAC/WAV 192kHz/24bit playback is built in, bringing you the sound accuracy with rich expressive power that's only possible from high resolution sources. Yamaha technologies refined over many years ensure high stability and reliability.

Digital Audio Input for TV or Blu-ray Player

The R-N301 is equipped for digital audio input?with both optical and coaxial terminals. The optical is for receiving audio from a TV, and the coaxial for receiving audio from a Blu-ray player. The audio stays in the digital domain, giving you pure, pristine dynamic sound for all your entertainment sources, from sports and other programmes to movies and concerts.

DC-Out for Optional Accessories such as YBA-11 and YWA-10

The R-N301 provides a DC-Out connection for the YBA-11 Bluetooth® Wireless Audio Receiver and the YWA-10 WiFi Adapter. This makes it easy to enjoy wireless music streaming from a smartphone, tablet or other device, or connect to a wireless network.

100W X 2 High Output Power* and High Sound Quality Circuit Design

The R-N301, with 100W* × 2 high drive power that's above its class, has a high sound quality design that minimises the length of signal routes and optimises the circuit layout. Positioning the power transformer near the power amp circuit reduces power loss while improving peak power supply capacity to enable high volume output. The signal ground and power supply ground are connected at one point, eliminating mutual interference to achieve a higher S/N ratio. The result is sound filled with clarity and a feeling of openness.

Simple and Sophisticated Design

The R-N301 inherits the simple and sophisticated design that Yamaha HiFi audio is famous for. With an elegant hair line finish, it harmonises beautifully with other HiFi audio equipment. The operating buttons and volume knobs also show our commitment to simplicity and ease of use.

Power Saving

A power management function automatically cuts off the power (switches to standby mode) when the amplifier has not been operated for a long time. It can be set to 2, 4, 8, 12 or 20 hours, or off. In addition, power consumption during standby is only 0.1W, achieving good energy saving performance.
