The EVO3 Premier delivers excellent performance and also representsoutstanding value for money. No compromise has been made in relation to thequality of parts and materials used in its construction.
The Premier is leagues ahead of the basic black cables that come bundledwith your hi-fi gear, which have been designed based on cost rather thanquality. The Premier's pure, clean power flow is a perfect introduction to theexperience of IsoTek, and the impact of high-performance cables on your audioexperience.
The Premier's conductors (the tightly-wound wiring in the cross-sectionimage above) are made of 99.9999% Oxygen Free Copper, and plated with silver.Silver is an excellent conductor and when combined with a high purity copperprovides impressive electrical properties. The extremely high purity levels ofthe copper not only make for superior connectivity but also mean that Premiercables are more durable and less likely to fracture or degrade over time thansupermarket power cables.
CONSTRUCTION
The conductors are in a parallel construction with a slight rotationaltwist. This established technique remains the first line of defence against RFIand EMI rejection.
A) Conductors: Silver-plated 99.9999% OFC conductors offer an exceptionallevel of purity with enhanced conductivity. They are less likely to fracture(compared to solid core) or degrade over time. Silver is an excellent conductorand when combined with a high purity copper provides impressive electricalproperties.
B) Dielectric: PVC is used to ensure full compliance with all Australianstandards
C) Filler: Cotton filler has been used to give the cable internal strengthand reduce microphony. Cotton also possesses excellent dielectric properties,the best of a solid material.
D) Wrap: A paper wrap is used to secure the construction prior to theapplication of a flexible PVC jacket. The addition of the paper and cotton forma buffer with the PVC so as to maintain exceptional dielectric properties.
E) Jacket: PVC is used as the outer jacket to give a high degree offlexibility and mechanical strength.
PLEASE NOTE: the C13 connection brings IsoTek into line with safety andcertification standards wherever IsoTek is sold. There is no performancedifference between the C13 and C15 versions.
