The MM8003 is the ideal 'single-box' partner to the AV7005 ? at the heart of this amplifier is a massive high-current, audiophile-grade, over-sized Toroidal power transformer. It easily delivers more than 140 W to each of the eight channels, and in addition to its sheer power, it incorporates high-grade audio components throughout, extensive shielding of key components, and ultra-wide bandwidth Current Feedback technology. The amplification system was originally developed to handle Super Audio CD signals, so it's ideal for the new DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD formats. The chassis is completely copper-plated to deliver perfect grounding, and to eliminate EMI. The result is an amazingly accurate tonal and image balance, allied to speed and dynamics with very low distortion.
